A Sovereign Forge into the New Paradigm
Held in containers, constraints, conformity so tight, we couldn’t move.
Sold beliefs about leadership, about business, about education (not to mention medicine and money) so inescapable, we couldn’t think.
Fallen fool to outdated ways of how to hold space, how to inspire, how to teach, how to show up as the authority in the room, we couldn’t truly lead.
We go beyond now: beyond the outdated, the diluted, the mechanisms built on control rather than self-empowerment.
We are stepping into self-trust, self-governing…
A kind of autonomy and leadership that demands authenticity… of ourselves and our people.
It’s no longer about being the one who makes everything feel comfortable all the time, who fixes, who saves, who people-pleases so that everyone likes them.
It isn’t about holding people in a container so tight they have to follow step-by-step or they can’t move.
It’s not about being the loudest or most-knowledgeable voice in the room.
Or the most polished presence on the screen.
This kind of leadership takes guts and a strong, sovereign sense of self — You know who you are. You know why you’re here. (And I don’t just mean you’re a spiritual being with a purpose to help others.)
I mean you understand what this world really is, and you can see it operating (in the most basic sense) on at least two frequencies – with some people asleep and happily inside the matrix…
While you and others are outside of it – questioning things, not willing to go along with the program.
Maybe you’ve stood up to authority, or felt locked in the matrix in a job so you quit.
Or maybe you don’t subscribe to the usual day-in-day-out activities of the sleeping man, or the celebrations that the stores brainwash everyone into buying into.
You are looking for the escape hatch… but not really.
You want to feel the experiences… but you want to do it awake.
I mean, we’re meant to have a human experience – that’s why we chose it here. But you yearn to have those deep conversations – about our teetering between consciousnesses, reflecting on experiences, and challenging ourselves and each other to go deeper, to play in the dark, to shine the light.
We want spaces where we can have these kinds of conversations and we need people like you to lead them.
This is what I call Sovereign Leadership.
It means trusting yourself and your vision enough to stand by it, even when it’s quiet or considered ‘crazy’.
It means empowering your people to step into their own sense of self, not just orbit around yours.
It means you letting go of the urge to be everything for everyone. Trusting your people to be that for themselves, with some gentle nudging towards it when needed.
This year, let’s stop performing leadership. Let’s stop playing boss-babe. (Ew!)
Let’s build spaces where the accepted, outdated rules of engagement in life and biz are questioned – where we question ourselves, and can question each other.
Where authenticity is the passcode in.
Where sovereignty is the music, and autonomy is our dance.
It’s time to forge our path into the new paradigm.
